A Technique That Relieves Pain
Here is a little technique I learned
in my Energy Medicine classes. It's called "pinching."
By lightly pinching the skin in and around an area that is painful,
this signals the brain that the pain is no longer necessary.
If you would like to give this a try here's what you do ...with
your thumb and forefinger come to the center of the painful
area and very gently and lightly pinch the skin only once. This
action is similar a reset button freeing the energy that is
clogged in the area of pain.
When I am home, I spend a lot of
time at my computer and often my hands, wrists and elbows ache.
I find the following helpful with carpal tunnel syndrome, stiff
joints, sore arms and shoulders as well as the elbow area. Make
tiny gentle pinches up and down the inside of your arm for about
20 - 25 seconds. You can do this gentle movement for longer,
about a minute. The lighter the better. Hope this method brings
relief to anyone who tries.
